Nilesh Kumar Sahu is a final-year PhD scholar at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal (IISER Bhopal) and a 2025 Google PhD Fellow in Health Research. His research focuses on Human-Centered AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Wearable Sensing, and Mental Health. He develops AI models leveraging wearable sensing, NLP, and deep learning for digital healthcare — with a focus on mental disorder detection and clinical summarisation.
